I had ten things on this morning’s to do list. But my husband woke up early and asked if I wanted to go on a quick walk before his 8 am appointment.

This upended me accomplishing much of what I thought I would this morning. But I said yes. I threw on my sneakers, put my messy hair in a scrunchie and ignored the list.

The beautiful weather, the crisp air, and the above burst of color were truly a gift. The walk was less than a half hour. I gained steps on my Fitbit. But more than that it changed my outlook on the day!

The items on the list will get done eventually.

The next few days are supposed to be rainy and who knows if walking will be practical.

Seize the moment! You won’t regret it!
