Normally, I don’t eat chips. They don’t particularly call to me, and when I start, I mindlessly eat many.
Today, our office ordered in lunch. I chose these chicken tacos thinking it was a better choice. They were okay. Nothing special. But every order came with chips. I wouldn’t have even tried them but they were still warm. They were AWESOME. Crispy, crunchy, not oily though I’m sure they were made with plenty of oil. I mindfully finished my bag. Yum. I tracked them as two ounces (9 points for me) although I haven’t a clue what the serving amounted to.
I’m glad I had them and accounted for them in some way. I’ll need to adjust what I eat the rest of the day /week to keep within my food budget.
But that’s part of finding the balance.
