Hmm… That time when you are annoyed that the scale is up and then you realize you had carvel cake three days in a row… 🤦🏻♀️
Day 1) 2 anniversary celebrations
Day 2) grandkid’s 1st birthday
Day 3) leftovers
I only ‘regret’ day 3, although it was yummy, it wasn’t ‘needed’
Of course this comes on the tail of a week of celebrations.
We had 3 weddings, and 3 related parties in the days prior to the carvel incidents. It was quite wonderful but it was a lot in a short period of time.
I felt good about finding some balance all those days as I kept my daytime points quite low knowing that every night was a party.
But then, this weekend the balance was much harder.
Time for a deep cleansing breath and moving on…
Embracing the celebrations and finding balance -good!
Learning that I can say know to carvel cake sometimes … still a work in progress!!
